The expansion of the high-speed rail network, the transfer of the Cercanías (suburban network) system to the Generalitat of Catalonia, and improvements to the conditions of goods transportation were some of the issues discussed at the round table held on 17 November by the newspaper El Periódico de Catalunya prior to the BcnRail exhibition.
